Still no camera cord to be seeen...

Well my life has come to a screaching hault because of a lost camera cord. I blame Continental Airlines and myself.... For some reason I put the camera cord in a bag that I checked but kept the camera in my purse and lo and behold the bag I checked is gone forever. It was lost back in april when I flew out for court's wedding and after a series of phone calls, claim reports, and frustration, I'll probably never see that bag again nor half of Elise's bottles or the camera cord =( Hopefully the airlines wont deny my claim and they will send me some sort of monetary compensation. So I think I'll put old pictures of Elise up.

In other news, I found a job. After pursing many many options (like a nursing internship thing, a staffing agency, and home health..yikes...) I decided to be a community nurse- who would have guessed?! I will be PRN (as needed) and I will be going with a wonderfully nice lady named Liberty to various companies and community places to do health fairs. I will be poking people to measure their cholesterol and shugas (as rach and mason like to refer to diabetes!) and teaching people how to take care of themselves. I never invisioned myself doing this as my nursing career but I feel very right about it and somewhat at home because of all my community work with my old secretary job at the volunteer office in Provo. I am excited to keep my license up and make a bit of extra money on the side. I have orientation for 4 days the second week in june so both momma's are helping out with Elise. I love the fact that with my job I will never:

Work on Sundays

Work full time

Work a 12 hour shift

Clean up poop!

Have to confront a doctor- not that I would be afraid to- its just nice to do my own thing!

It is going to be a great I do believe so hopefully all is well and I'll keep you updated on my new career. Bry says with the pay I'm making that he'll just retire and buy a gold watch... Oh bry!

Well update on Elise- I think she has a cold and so do I. I have been sickly lately and I'm not sure why. Elise woke up yesterday with a tiny cough (cutest little cough you've ever heard!) and a stuffy nose. So bry called the pediatrician and I brought her in - and guess what- she did not cough ONCE while we were there and she had no fever (which she had over the weekend) and no stuffy nose.... So I looked like a paranoid mother...I know where I got THAT from! Anywho after $20 wasted on a co-pay I was able to gather one piece of valuable information from the doctor...Elise weighs in at 16 pounds 1 ounce! She's a chunk. She'll be 4 months on June 3rd. I love that baby to pieces though and have an unbelievable amount of fun with her. Her new milestones include:

1. Rolling over! From back to belly (she hates getting stuck on her belly though it's pretty funny!)

2. Grabbing her feet and realizing they are indeed attached to her body

3. Laughing. I got it on video tape! I'll eventually learn how to put it on the computer to show ya.

4. Yelling- it is not crying it is yelling which makes me laugh every time- even though she's mad!

5. Enjoying reading- finally! she loves to "read" with me by trying to babble over me=)

Well that is all the news I have so I will post some pictures on here and be on my way!

Oh dang I've been tagged!

Ok So I am not exactly hip to the blog scene yet, but Jen tagged me so I suppose I am supposed to write about these listed things... Here goes!
1. 10 years ago I was 13 and in the 7th grade thinking I was pretty hilarious making fun of my teacher Mr. Buzzel who liked to bang the top of our portable roof in class to scare the squirrels who had apparently made a nest up there. I was also obsessed with writing "I am cool" with a smiley face or sunglass man with the two o's on about everything I owed.
2. Five things on my to-do-list today: Well the day is almost done, but one of those was "don't die" as I told bry. I think I have strep..agaaaainnn and I feel like death. But the other things were clean the bathrooms..check! Rip out the old dead bushes around our trees. Check. Vote in the primaries..check! and last but not least Kiss baby Elise for grammie. Check! Also get mother's day presents. half check..
3.Snacks I enjoy: What snacks dont i like?! Sweet sixteen powdered donuts are my weakness..and my true love. I also enjoy yogurt, granola bars, fruit, and any sort of cake or crumble!
4. Things I would do if I were suddenly a billionare: Go whitewater rafting, go on another cruise with bry, go out to eat constantly, buy bry a GTO or corvette, invest money in the future, pay for a laundry service because of my hatred towards the chore. Give money to people who needed it more than me.
5. Places I've lived: Born in Easley, SC. When I was very small plymoth, Massachusetts, albany, NY. Simpsonville,SC. Provo, UT. Sandy, UT. Now Monroe NC
6. Jobs I've had: babysitter first! Then a child-slave at wholesale glass (my dad's company) haha jusssst kidding! I was a tamer of the enraged rednecks and enjoyed my time there with Norma Jean and the gang. I also was a secretary for the volutneer office at UVRMC, a hospital in provo. Now I am about to get set up with an agency to be a per diem nurse.
7. Things people don't know about me:
I can ride a unicycle that's 6 feet tall. Yes I am a nerd
I lack the ability to remember famous people's names
I NEVER shut cabinets or drawers all the way. I think its a disorder
I leave my shoes absoluetely everywhere to the point that I annoy myself
I am really sensitive to violence (I think I was the only one who hated to see fights in middle school)
I love to mow the grass
Alrite the end! Elise is beckoning so I will run to her aid! haha now I tag Emily and Chris
