Baby Boy's Room!

Here are a few snapshots of our little guy's room. I love the glass shelves my dad made for us and I am extremely thankful for Bry's dad helping us to put them up. It was a very difficult decision for Bryan to decide which cars made the cut for going up on the shelf-- he has quite a collection and they all could not fit so with about 3 hours of deliberating here is the finished product. I personally like the grill mounted on the wall- it adds a nice newborn touch...Seriously though I love the room. We also have a picture of Elise's room- she's been in a toddler bed since August and has done awesome. The painted pictures on the wall are done by none other than Poopah Sammis (bry's dad) and they are our favorite! I also included some embarrassing belly shots-- I am way bigger this time than I was with Elise so I feel somewhat like a whale. I have to be thankful though- I can still exercise and I generally feel great- I am very blessed. I will be 37 weeks on Friday and I am anxiously awaiting his arrival in the next few weeks! Enjoy the pictures!

Happy New Year!

Elise inherited her father's love of Cars, so we got her these slippers for Christmas
Elise's great uncle, Kevin came to visit and got her a drum set=)
Noise Noise Noise!
I think we make a good band- I look a little too excited though...
Our house is a bit chilly in the mornings- and Elise is a a diva nonetheless.
This is so cute, she made Bry a birthday card and was SO proud of it. We brought it to him at work and it made his day.
Elise went on an eating strike during the holidays, but literally the ONE thing she ate was the ranch sour cream dip- Bless dear Grandma (which Elise calls Monga for some reason) for putting up with her shinanigans!
All decked out for the holidays
Look at those eyes- but where is that poor baby that was in the cradle!?
Not sure what she was doing here, hiding perhaps.
Our little neighbor, Courtney and Elise making "gingerbread" houses aka graham cracker shacks!
Helping Santa. Wait it was just dad hauling some serious leaves to the creek.
I tried to make this one look all cool like real photographers do with leaves, but not much happened.
Hangning out with Penny the Horse- she sings them songs so she's a favorite around here.
Look for the skinniest legs with gray shorts and a blue jacket and that is my man crossing the finish line at the Thunder Road Half-Marathon! WHoooHOooo~!!!

Christmas and Thanksgiving were fantastic! I don't remember many details other than Elise is not deathly afraid of wrapping paper anymore (hallelujah), everyone got amazing gifts (the top one in our house was definitely the BMW performance driving school day for Bry), and we had a wonderful time with all of our families down in Greenville.
In other news, Bry ran a half marathon in December with his sister Rachel, my Dad, and our friend Joey Toone. He accomplished his goal of running it under 2 hours and is a lean, mean, eating machine now that he runs so much. He did an awesome job and he is really getting into running- I am so proud! I am really excited to do it next year with him when I am not quite so...pregnant. Yes, that's the word.
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby boy next month (official due date is 2/20) and pictures will be coming soon of his room. It is car themed and even has a real Mercedes grill on the wall. Bry's heaven/haven/mancave is definitely our little baby's room=) I love it too- When the finishing touches are complete I will post some pictures.
As for now enjoy some pictures of the holidays!
